Features and Benefits

  • Rustic, country look
  • Great for decorative applications
  • Great for marking property lines
  • Choice of height and number of rails
  • Best choice for livestock and horses

For a decorative border that provides the rustic charm of country living, you can’t do better than a split rail fence. Ours are constructed of pressure treated pine, which is superior to all other coniferous woods in its resistance to all types of weather, as well as insects.

Your split rail fence by Thomas Fence will give you the ultimate rustic look, with your treated pine rails weathering to a beautiful silver gray. While they were traditionally used to corral livestock and horses, today these fences are a great choice to create decorative borders around landscaping and large lots.

Choose two-rail or three-rail styles in heights ranging from 3 feet to 4 feet.

For all our wood fences, we recommend using sealer or stain to protect from weather. While split rail construction generally does not require fasteners, where necessary, our products are constructed with rust resistant aluminum spiral nails to prevent rust streaks on your finished wood fence.
